2023 Harvest Season
Denise Clark is an Award Winning Winemaker and owner of Altipiano Vineyard and Winery in Escondido. Her wines are amazing and we are honored to have her select our grapes for her wonderful wines. You can find more about Denise on their website www.altipianovineyard.com
I mentored under John York in the Vineyard for 3 years and later in the Cellar at Old Julian Winery, when John was the head Winemaker. His wine is exceptional and he mentored under Lum Eisenman. John also writes amazing books as well. You can find John R. York on Amazon and his website www.johnryork.com
Getting "G" to come out and harvest some of our grapes was over the top this year. She is wonderful. "G" was instrumental in encouraging me with my winemaking and instrumental in helping me with my wine that won "Best of Class" for Merlot at the 2023 San Diego County Fair and a Bronze for the RVVA.
Like me, Alisa & Tony Moretto are originally from Michigan. They are winemakers for Block 270 Winery and introduced to us by Gisela Claassen . Their winemaking is wonderful and I am honored to add them to our client list.
Turtle Rock Vineyards and Winery is owned by Laurie & Ian and is located just down the road from Tre Sorelle Vineyards. They were one of the very first to harvest grapes from the previous owners of Tre Sorelle.
Whether you need 5,000 lbs, or 5 buckets, you won't be disappointed with the attention to detail in our Vineyard and our history of successful winemaking.
Rob de la Grange
Everyone has a past, and my past was growing up in Michigan and playing as a studio and touring musician for several bands, including Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley . For "The Ted Nugent Band" I was their original bassist and in my youth toured the world doing concerts which introduced me to French and California wines. Look me up on Wikipedia as "Rob Grange".
"Sadie" is our Vineyard pup. She is a Aussie Rescue and sniffs out fresh Gopher holes, when she's not catching up on a nap. A favorite routine in the Vineyard for Sadie is chasing off Rabbits and Squirrels.
Established 2013 by the previous owner Martin Giuliani (no, no relation to Rudy) who planted 300 Sangiovese Brunello Clone vines. The family later sold the estate to a new owner. Local popular Winemaker John York found the Vineyard and made a Rose which became popular locally with Old Julian Winery. A wildfire burned down the home and the Vineyard was left in disrepair. In 2021 Rob de la Grange became the vigneron and brought the vineyard back to life. It was a huge undertaking as the vineyard was left untouched for 18 months with the nets still up.

"It has often been said that wine quality is made in the vineyard, and few experienced winemakers disagree with this statement."
Lum Eisenman
John is an amazing Winemaker and a lot of fun to work along side of. He now lives in Florida and we miss him!

From Squirrels, Bees, Yellow Jackets, Snakes, Crows, Hawks, high Summer heat days and Coyotes. They all prey on the fresh ready to harvest Grapes. We keep a good shade canopy, use Bird Netting and this year installed Squirrel Baffels on our end posts and a hot wire fence for the Coyotes.

Your buckets of grapes are weighed on site on Harvest day. Reserve in advance how many lbs you need. Harvest is at 7:00 am to 11:00 am . Contact us for pricing.
Fresh grapes are more popular than purchasing frozen must, which is shipped in from out of town several days after being harvested. As a winemaker you have more control over the grapes you select off the vine, which includes your required BRIX at harvest time. We have found that 23-25 Brix is good. The advantage you have as the Winemaker is you choose your Harvest Brix, pH and TA., which gives you control over your winemaking.
Grapes are available by first come first served , with a reservation, until they are all harvested. Some of our friends go in together and rent a destemmer and process the grapes together, they set up a destemming party and all process the freshly harvested grapes together.
